Studies suggest Aspirin lowers risk of COVID

There should soon be several articles in the mainstream media bashing aspirin, as news is leaking out it may help in the battle against COVID.

According to a study by George Washington University (GWU), based in Washington D.C., aspirin may help alleviate some of the severest symptoms of COVID.

The Jerusalem Post reports that GWU’s study of 400 patients who had contracted COVID found that those who were regularly taking low doses of aspirin for issues unrelated to COVID had a much lower risk of severe COVID symptoms.

Low doses of aspirin is often recommended for those who dealing with heart issues and strokes.

The study found that those taking the readily available medication had:

• 47% lower death rate from COVID,
• 44% reduction in the use of ventilators, and
• 43% lower ICU admissions.
